Hello,

 

Grim news from the Administration. "Volkswagen and the German Miracle" will not get an extension of the enrollment.  This means that whoever has signed up for the class and  does not show up until 6:15 today in 121 Wheeler will be dropped and, effective tomorrow, TeleBears will report that these students are not signed up for the class.

I will tell those of you who are at the top of my unofficial waiting list that they can get in the class. (up to the 30 pearson maximum enrollment for the class)

 

However, TeleBears goes down over the week-end. Also you cannot add or drop any classes by yourself from  Monday on. You would have to go to your individual departments and request a Petition to change class schedule. This is a simple one-page form. For those of you who have not declared a major, you would have to go to the Letters and Science building "Le Conte" and request the same form.  You will be responsible for taking care of this form.

 

The most disappointing part is that I cannot guarantee those students whom I tell they can sign up that someone else will not sign up before them by petition.  In other words, I am not allowed to reserve the available seats for you.

 

This puts me in a precarious situation and I wish to sincerely apologize in advance to any of you whom this will disappoint.
